ABSTRACT

This research paper is a case study to investigate the effectiveness of using collaborative learning strategy in introducing and improving paragraph writing skill. The value of collaborative learning has been recognized throughout human history. Organizing individuals to work in support of one another and putting the interest of the group ahead of one’s own, are abilities that have characterized some of the most successful people of our time. Group learning, with its roots in ancient tribal customs, has traditionally been a part of educational practice. Collaborative strategy is now widely recognized as one of the most promising practices in the field of education. The various strategies that have been lined up here is to allow teaching of writing to take place in a interesting way which can capture the students attention. This research also studies the methodology based on the research design, the instruments employed, the data collection and data analysis procedure is also discussed here.
