I-BOARD: Develop Pupils Participation in English Language Classroom

ABSTRACT

English is one of the languages that is used in Malaysia for various purposes other than Bahasa Malaysia. Regards of this, English language is being taught in Malaysian schools as one of the compulsory subjects and part of the school curriculum. It is being observed that most of pupils are not very keen to learn the language as their classroom participation in not very encouraging. So, this study is to enhance students’ interest in taking part in English language learning using I-BOARD. About 12 respondents from year 3 from SJKT Tronoh involved in this study. The instruments that is used to collect data are questionnaires and observation. The result of the study will be discussed later in the paper.
